Virginia City Pony Express

The Pony Express was built by Canadian Car & Foundry in 1941 as Canadian Pacific end-door baggage express 4210. Once used to transport Canadian Mounted Police horses used in the RCMP's world famous Musical Ride. The car has since been completely remodeled as a rolling bar and dance floor. This car is the perfect accompaniment to any private rail Endeavour. Add this car to any of our lounge and dome cars to double your daytime capacity and provide your guests with ample room to socialize. One of this cars unique features is the ability to leave its two huge baggage doors open while the car is in motion allowing you to truly breathe in the world around you while you enjoy a spectacular panoramic view. The other amenities aboard this car include an antique wooden bar, 30 foot parquet dance floor and fully integrated sound system and video projector. This setup makes this car the life of the party. The Pony Express can accommodate up to 50 guests as a bar car and can seat 40 for formal dinners, weddings and other large events.
